Where are you located?
Take interstate 93 to New Hampshire exit 33.  Take NH Route 3 North for a ¼ of a mile and we are on the left.  As always, parking is FREE!

Are coolers and outside food allowed in the park?

Yes, guests are welcome to bring a cooler.  However, no glass or alcohol are permitted.  Coolers are inspected at the front gate.

Is there a place to change inside the park?
Yes, we have restrooms with changing facilities and showers.

What kind of swimwear is allowed in your park?
We are a family park, so we ask that all guest wear appropriate swimwear. Also, for the safety of all guests we require shorts/pants have no rivets or belt buckles.

Who’s going to be watching out for me and my family?
The Whale’s Tale Waterpark lifeguard staff undergoes rigorous preseason and in-service training to maintain the highest possible standard in swimmer protection.  Our guards are ILTP (International Lifeguard Training Program) Licensed and we work in partnership with J. Ellis and Associates.  J. Ellis and Associates and ILTP are specifically designed for the waterpark environment.

Can we bring our pets in with us?
Pets are not allowed in the park or in cars parked in the parking lot.  Please be kind to your pets and either leave them home or call one of our local kennels for the day. One Dog Day 745-8259 or Wash and Wags 745-3772

Is there a place we can leave our stuff?
We offer locker rentals on a first-come, first-serve basis.  For a $10 deposit, you can access your locker throughout the day.  Return your key and get $5 back.
We also offer basket rentals on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Do you rent towels?
No, we do not rent towels.  You are welcome to bring towels with you, or you can purchase towels at Breakers Surf Shop.

I’ve got a big group that wants to come, do you offer any discounts?
Yes, we offer discounts for groups of 15 or more.  Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance to guarantee a discount.

I’m not going swimming or getting wet, do I still have to pay the admission price?
We are participatory park and don’t have spectator areas, so everyone must pay our admission rate.  Whales Tale is located on 17 beautiful acres, so there are plenty of places to relax, read a book or take nap.  As always, kids 3 and under and adults 70 and older are always free!

Do any slides have height restrictions?
For safety reasons, all riders must be 48” or taller to ride the Eye of the Storm and the Banzai Pipeline, and 47” or taller to ride the Plunge speed slides.  Also, for the enjoyment of our youngest guest, all guests must be under 48” to enjoy Whale Harbor kids area.

Do any slides have weight restrictions?
For safety reasons, on the Banzai Pipeline the minimum tube load is 100 lbs (45 kgs) and the maximum tube load is 400 lbs (181 kgs).  On the Plunge speed slide and the Eye of the Storm the maximum load is 300 lbs (136 kgs). 

What happens if it starts raining?
For the safety of our guests, the park will close for thunder and lightening and reopen when it is safe to enter the water again. Whales Tale Waterpark does not offer rain checks or refunds.

Do you have any special offers or deals?
As always, we try to keep our rates as low as possible for our guests. On a hot summer day, the best deal out there is to purchase your tickets online!  This may not save you money, but it saves a lot of time.  On-line tickets go directly to the turnstile so you get to bypass the ticket lines.  We do honor a AAA discount, please visit your local AAA branch for details. Don’t forget to contact our lodging partners for any stay and play deals that they offer.
